Trying to save money best online ways

As a single gal who likes the finer things in life(sailing /great food) attempting to save money is par for the course. Here are some of my favorite tricks.

Swagbucks - This is a search engine that gives you swagbucks for searching using them. You do not get swagbucks every search but frequently enough that they add up. I get about 20-30 swagbucks a day for light searching. Every 450 swagbucks you can trade them in for a $5 code for amazon. (amazon money is almost as good as real money)

Fatwallet - Fatwallet is a website that has discount codes for different retailers, a forum full of freebies, and Cash back on a ton of retailers. The cashback adds up, the freebies are useful, the hot deals are also full of good deals that are sometimes fast to go. I go here before I go to any other shopping website just to get the cash back. This comes as a real honest to goodness lovely check. For example 3.5% back on anything at west marine. Right now you would also see a 15% off coupon code BIG15 and a $15 off 200 coupon code WMAFF for West Marine. So basically that means you would be saving over 18% off of your boat purchase.

Recyclebank - This is a website that does all sorts of little click it games and info things and you get recyclebank points ( typically 5-10 per thing ) once a month they tend to open something worth about 50-100 points but daily it is easy to grab 10-20 points.  Every 50 points you can get a shoppers food and pharmacy $5 off $25 coupon. This is a local grocery store for me so this is a great deal. Also for about 150 -300 points depending on the magazine you can get a free magazine subscription.

MyPoints- You give them a junk email account and they send emails to you every day about 1/3rd have links that if you click you get 5-10 points. You can also get points for shopping through their links. Every about 3450 you get a $25 gift card.

I heart CVS- The woman who runs this blog lists all the free after coupon or free after cve extra care bucks stuff you can get from CVS every week. Seriously never pay for toothpaste again.

Bzzagent- Occasionally through them you get to try new products in exchange for reviews and feedback.

Ibotta- A nice app to play with in the grocery line. Basically a few little polls and such for money back for things you are buying anyway. Nice because it stacks on top of all sorts of other deals.

  1. I also LOVE eBates. Do you use them? They give you a percentage back on purchases made online if you go to the site from their site. For instance, I got 5% cash back on shoes I bought recently. They give out the money quarterly, either as a check or as Amazon bucks. I got more than $20 last quarter. I have a referral code if you want it!

I'll have to try some of these -- a few are new to me! :)
